2026 saw some changes in how I run my author business, and the biggest of these is that I no longer have a typical mailing list or newsletter. There are so many different ways for authors to connect with readers, and while newsletters work beautifully for many authors, for me and the way my brain works, I found the demands from a newsletter took away from my creative energy. I would much rather write books than newsletters.
But don’t worry, updates for all my new releases will still be posted on this blog. If you would like to get an automatic email whenever an update, announcement, or any other relevant/interesting bit is posted on this site, you can still get one by entering your email into this form…
Or if you’d rather keep me out of your inbox and still want to stay in the loop, just keep checking back to the BLOG page and see what I’ve been up to.
I will also send emails from my store, katekrakestore.com, when I have a new book, new value bundle, or special going on. These emails will only go out to readers who have purchased from my store, but I will post the info here as a news item.
I also run a What I’m Currently Working On page on my main hub site at katekrake.com. This page lists what I’m currently writing in fiction and nonfiction, as well as other creative pursuits occupying my life (needle felting is currently a weirdly big thing for me…).
